Job Description

  • Continuously conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to devise the right strategy that harnesses sales potential and positions the company in the right space.
  • Lead the ecommerce branding exercise from strategy to execution to fully bring the business’s UVP to life. 
  • Outsource or insource building the ecommerce platform based on the most relevant and best suited technology and platforms for the nature of the business and industry.
  • Utilize social media networks to market for and drive conversion to the ecommerce platform(s)
  • Manage all content including the product catalog and collateral on the ecommerce platform in multilingual format to support sales and marketing.
  • Ensure that the ecommerce platform is in line with industry standards and best practices to properly reflect the modern nature of the company and being at the forefront of this industry.
  • Manage the online sales operation and fulfillment including stock control, payment security, delivery to customer and all customer communication to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat purchase.
  • Analyze traffic and key performance indicators and the effectiveness of marketing strategies to define product roadmap & refine startegy.
  • Examining sales-related metrics to inform restocks.

Job Requirements

  • Proven track record/previous experience as an e-commerce manager.
  • Demonstrable track record of devising sales-enhancing strategies and online marketing knowledge.
  • Sound knowledge of prevailing procedures and techniques in e-commerce.
  • Ability to tackle the demands of ever-evolving technological implements with ease.
  • High communication skills and presentation capabilities to align cross functional teams on challenges, opportunities and requirements.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities are essential to have. 
  • Degree in marketing management, business, information systems, or similar.
