Job Description
- Reviews the payments and reports the receipts.
- Prepares reports required by the investors and debtors.
- Uses data and makes recommendations to influence strategic decision-making and planning.
- Uses solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models and analyses, draws conclusions and makes recommendations that deliver results, analyzes past results, performs variance analysis, identifies trends, and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Performs ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling. Presents recommendations to senior management on strategic decisions and planned future initiatives.
- Identifies and implements opportunities to resolve financial issues, and improves, scales, or simplifies finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations.
- Reports on financial performance for regular leadership reviews.
- Analyzes past results, performs variance analysis, identifies trends, and makes recommendations for improvements
Works closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance or Accounting
- 7+ years of business finance or other relevant experience (someone with zero experience won’t be able to do the above)
- High proficiency in financial modeling techniques
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
- Proficiency in English
- Quick-books knowledge is a plus
