Job Description
- Supervise all maintenance activities and staff to ensure job completion in a timely manner and of standard quality.
- Responsible to implement, supervise and maintain the preventive maintenance program on all the fleet and keep maintenance records updated.
- Conduct daily and weekly inspections of the vehicles and follow-up with the remarks on the checklists generated by distribution.
- Provide maintenance expense reports and invoices for all the vehicles gone for maintenance works.
- Coordinate and follow up with vehicle workshops to complete the job efficiently and up to standard.
- Take prompt action to repair any vehicle break downs either through in-housework shop or outside garages.
- ▪ Perform all vehicle maintenance as per the standard transportation and safety procedures.
- ▪ Keep records of all maintenance job conducted per vehicle.
- ▪ Create work orders and PRs in the Enterprise Asset Management system.
- ▪ Responsible for man-management of the fleet maintenance staff (such as shift schedule, leave plan, overtime, etc.).
- ▪ Coordinate with purchasing and stores to maintain minimum spare parts level. ▪ Coordinate with Safety department to investigate the root-cause of fleet accidents.
- ▪ Coordinates with contract companies on asset repairs.
- ▪ Verifies and cross checks on proper usage and requisition on spares.
- ▪ Provides onsite information to the Manager on daily basis.
- ▪ Initiates process to correct breakdowns and recommends appropriate action.
- ▪ Notifies the Manager in the event of an emergency or a serious situation.
- ▪ Ensures operations are conducted as per the SOP’s and all data stored is verified against errors
- ▪ Lead by example to observe HSE rules and regulations.
- ▪ Identify hazards and employees’ safety concerns, and work with HSE Specialist to resolve them.
- ▪ Comply with company policies and procedures at all times.
Job Requirements
- Higher Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years minimum in a similar job
- Fleet management
- Planning and scheduling
- Preventive and periodic maintenance
- Excellent English
