Position Summary:
The OPD (Outpatient Department) Coordinator is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the outpatient clinics. This role involves coordinating patient appointments, assisting medical staff, maintaining clinic schedules, and providing administrative support to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction and service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage daily operations of outpatient clinics.
Schedule patient appointments and manage clinic timetables efficiently.
Act as the primary point of contact between patients, doctors, and administrative departments.
Ensure patient files, medical records, and documents are properly organized and updated.
Assist in managing patient flow to reduce waiting times and optimize clinic efficiency.
Respond promptly to patient inquiries and resolve minor complaints or issues.
Support physicians and nursing staff with necessary administrative tasks.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.
Prepare regular reports on clinic activities and performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Dentistry, Physiotherapy, Veterinary Medicine.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; previous experience in a clinical or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using hospital systems and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office).
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent patient service.
