Job Description
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet or exceed annual sales targets for fleet vehicles and related products.
- Target new fleet customers by prospecting and generating leads through networking, referrals, cold-calling, and strategic outreach.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, adjusting sales tactics accordingly.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing fleet customers, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction.
- Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within businesses, corporations, and government sectors.
- Understand customer needs and offer tailored solutions, including vehicle models, financing, leasing, and service packages.
- Negotiate and close fleet deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the company and the customer.
- Provide expert guidance to customers on vehicle selection, financing options, and service packages, positioning the company as a trusted partner.
- Conduct product demonstrations and fleet presentations to highlight vehicle features, benefits, and total cost of ownership.
- Offer tailored solutions based on customers’ fleet needs (e.g., specific vehicle models, fuel efficiency, maintenance requirements, etc.
- Lead negotiations for pricing, contracts, and terms for fleet sales, ensuring profitability while meeting customer needs.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner to maintain high customer satisfaction levels.
- Ensure customers receive high-quality after-sales support, including follow-up services and maintenance programs.
Job Requirements
- strong sales acumen with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- +3 years of proven experience in fleet sales or automotive sales, with a strong understanding of fleet management.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle products, pricing strategies, and financing options.
- Demonstrated ability to close large deals and manage complex negotiations.
