Job Description
1. Responsible for obtaining best prices for purchased goods and services.
2. Ensure the execution of all purchasing functions to be at the highest level of quality.
3. Requires frequent visits to local markets, around two to three times weekly; for price checks is a must as needed.
4. Identifies and selects vendors, and negotiates prices, terms, and delivery methods for the assigned area of procurement.
5. Meets with sales representatives to develop new vendor sources, updates record and secures demos for departments.
6. Ensure accurate and on-time purchasing of all products and services as required.
7. Ensure a proper filing system of all purchasing related documentation for auditing purposes.
8. Any Additional duties requested by the direct manager.
Job Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience, preferably in procurement field.
3. Good command in English and Arabic language, both spoken and written.
4. Good knowledge of purchasing.
5. Very Good Microsoft Office skills.
6. Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
7. Knowledge of the local market, covering goods and services.
8. Good negotiation skills.
9. Ability to work effectively in a team.
