The ideal candidate will excel in delivering outstanding customer service, even if they lack technical expertise in the automotive industry.Required Skills/Abilities:Customer service skills: It is essential for the role to be able to interact with customers in a professional and helpful manner, including active listening, clear and concise communication to address their questions, and effective resolution of any concerns they may have.Convening skills: It is important for this role to have the ability to convince customers to purchase additional services or products by clearly and concisely explaining the benefits and addressing any questions they may have.Communication skills: It is crucial for this role to effectively communicate with both customers and technicians. This involves the ability to attentively address customers' concerns, simplify complex technical information, and collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and budget-friendly repairs.Problem-solving skills: The capacity to swiftly and effectively identify and resolve issues is crucial for this role.Teamwork skills: The capability to collaborate effectively with others, share information, and work jointly on projects is essential for this role. This is because Service Advisors frequently collaborate with a team of technicians and other staff members to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of repairs.Willingness to learn: The automotive industry is ever-evolving, making it vital for Service Advisors to be open to learning new things. This encompasses learning about new technologies, repair procedures, and industry terminology.Service Advisor's Responsibilities:Greet customers and answer their questions: This includes providing information about the services offered by the center, answering questions about the repair process, and addressing any concerns that customers may have.Inspect vehicles and diagnose problems: This involves visually inspecting the vehicle with the help of a team leader and using diagnostic tools to identify any potential problems.Prepare estimates for repairs: This includes estimating the cost of parts and labor, as well as the time it will take to complete the repairs.Schedule appointments and coordinate with the technical team leader: This involves scheduling appointments for customers, communicating with technicians about the status of repairs, and ensuring that repairs are completed on time and within budget.Communicate with customers throughout the repair process: This includes keeping customers informed about the status of their repairs, getting extra required services and parts approval, answering any questions they may have, and resolving any issues that may arise.Follow up with customers after repairs are completed: This includes ensuring that customers are satisfied with the repairs that were made and answering any questions they may have about their vehicles.Ensure the quality of repairs and customer complaints are solved well: This includes following up with the team leader for quality inspection, communicating with customers after repairs are completed to ensure that they are satisfied, and resolving any customer complaints promptly and efficiently.Providing sales and marketing support: This could include promoting the center's services to potential customers or generating leads through calls, WhatsApp, or references from customers—similar support marketing to provide customer testimonials.Qualifications:High school / secondary / diploma or equivalent: 1-2 years of customer service experience: This is important for demonstrating the ability to interact with customers in a professional and helpful manner.Willingness to learn about the automotive industry: This is important for understanding the types of repairs that are typically performed including spare parts knowledge, as well as the terminology used in the automotive industry.
