Job Description
The job holder will be integral part of the finance team providing clear, accurate and insightful business/financial analysis. The job holder will also contribute to business planning and be included in project work and or specialist ad hoc reporting.
- Build an understanding of the value drivers of the business
- Analysing budget P&L items like Gross Revenue, COGS, marketing expenses, non-marketing expenses, etc. and estimating the numbers.
- Create analytics around key performance indicators to facilitate qualitative reporting. These may include:
- Business performance
- Budgets and forecasts
- Market and revenue analysis
- Cost benefit analysis
- Provide clear analysis to incorporate within the monthly reports designed to allow management to understand key continuing and developing trends
- Provide support in the business planning and forecasting processes
- Performs other responsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by management from time to time.
- Preparing and analyzing consolidation of the Group including balance sheet, and other schedule.
- Comparative analysis of monthly/quarterly standard reports to stakeholders by BU/region, volume reports, income statement, Opex report, marketing, etc.
- Reviewing Financials and perform variance analysis for any deviation from budgeted numbers on monthly basis and report to manager and finance director.
- Ownership of month end closing and reporting of financial statements i.e. Profit & Loss account, Balance sheet and cash flow statement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business management, economics, or related field.
- Professionally Qualified – CA/CPA/CMA/MBA or equivalent is advantage.
- 2-5 years of post-qualification professional experience within finance
- Must have IFRS knowledge.
- Strong analytical skills; should be capable of identifying and interpreting key business drivers.
- Sound knowledge of financial and management accounting concepts. Previous experience with ERP systems is a must.
- Self-starter, able to work across functions and in teams. Results-driven, with the ability to perform on unstructured assignments
- Problem solving skills.
- Positive attitude and flexibility to work in a multicultural environment
- Fluency in English; strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel , PowerPoint and Power BI
- Advanced Financial Modelling skills, Power point presentations
- Experience in service industry is required.
