Job Description
- Designing, implementing and maintaining security controls with an Azure, M365 and Active Directory environment.
- Guide the design and management of Azure AD, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Security and AD Security Hardening.
- Identify customers’ business requirements.
- Implement customized solutions for customers.
- Provide team and thought leadership on projects.
- Maintaining communication with project heads to keep track of progress.
- Organizing detailed new security implementations reports for customers review.
- Maintain current knowledge of security trends, technologies, and best practices around Microsoft solutions.
- Continually learn and grow professionally.
- Mentor/train other team members.
- Monitoring toolsets and systems to ensure our client’s security posture is maintained, and compliance obligations are met.
- Proactively remediating identified vulnerabilities by using a variety of security tools.
- Responding to security incidents and escalations.
- Proactive review of advisory and implementation of Microsoft features.
- Ensure the environment security posture aligns to documented security procedures, guidelines, training material and best practices or architectural principles.
- Analysis of internal and external security events and reporting these findings to customers with recommendations as required.

Relevant Microsoft cloud security certifications such as:
- SC-900 (Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals).
- SC-200 (Microsoft Security Operations Analyst).
- SC-300 (Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator).
- SC-400 (Microsoft Information Protection Administrator).
- MS-101 (Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert).
- MS-500 (Microsoft 365 Security Administration).
- AZ–500 (Microsoft Azure Security Technologies).
Technical Requirements:
This role requires 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and operational roles where security was a key area of responsibility and focus. It includes experiences such as:
- Experience in applying Microsoft product & technology knowledge to improve the user experience.
- Experience in building and maintaining secure cloud solutions.
- Strong familiarity with cloud capabilities and products and services for Azure, e.g., Azure Active Directory,
- Experience developing solutions across the security lifecycle (including prevent, detect, respond, and remediate controls).
- Customer Facing Experience is preferred.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge with the architecture, design, configuration and troubleshooting of Active Directory and Microsoft Infrastructure Services, especially in secure environment.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge with the architecture, design, configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft 365 products and solutions such as:
- Azure Active Directory.
- Intune (MAM/ MDM).
- Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (Office ATP)
- Microsoft Defender for Identity (Azure ATP)
- Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps (MCAS)
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoints (Windows Defender ATP)
- Azure Information Protection.
- Data Loss Prevention
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge with Azure Network Security Groups, Azure Firewall, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Security Center.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- General understanding of Threat Scenarios and corresponding measures (Pass-the-Hash, Pass-the-Ticket, Threat Modelling, Security & Configuration Management, Security Policies, Security Concepts)
