Job Description
- Responsible for all warehousing activities and staff
- Training staff on all warehousing activities, which includes:
- Keeping a record of all stocks, physical and on ERP system
- Training staff on using handling equipment such as forklifts, palletizers and other
- Training staff on using warehouse scanners
- Conducting regular stock counts
- Following the quality rules (FIFO, HOLD products for quality approvals, locations)
- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, supply chain or a related field
- Minimum experience: + 10 years
- Must have previous experience in managing warehouses tracked by batch numbers in paints, chemicals industries.
- Strong SAP skills
- Worked in a warehouse with hand-helds and scanners
- Experience in working with ERP systems
- Strong in English and Arabic, Reading and writing
- Technical and IT skills, particularly when it comes to database management and spreadsheets
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level
- The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
