Job Description
- Negotiate rates, transportation, and handling costs with shipping lines & overseas agents
- Obtain rates & quote offers for shipping services required by customers
- Obtain, check and prepare documentation to meet customers requirements
- Co-ordinate the shipments with overseas agents
- Ability to handle a shipment from booking to delivery
- Track & trace shipments & update customers on a regular basis
- Complete invoicing and billing processes; assist in the investigation of billing issues and develops solutions for problems to ensure accurate invoices are provided to the customer in a timely manner
- Consistently meets the customer’s needs around shipment bookings, collections, delivery, and shipment updates
Job Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and PC skills.
- Previous experience in Freight Forwarding is a MUST
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Experience from 5 to 10 years
- Perfect in the English language
