Job Description
- Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
- Gathering and Identifying business requirements
- Creating testing plans/cases
- Testing new and existing features, debug code (units and integration) and report errors and failures
- Work collaboratively with the developing team to correct errors and participate in testing for product releases
- Test automation and test methodology (ex:) Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
- Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing, and scalability testing
- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
Job Requirements
- MSc. Computer Science, BSc. Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing.
- Knowledge of various programming languages (e.g., C sharp, C++, SQL, etc.)
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting and use SQL queries to validate the output results in back-end databases
- Experience in API testing, Mobile testing, Web/Mobile Automation testing, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium or similar tools
- Experience using project tracking software (ex: JIRA, DevOps)
- ISTQB- Foundation Level would also be considered an asset
- Experience using version control systems (ex: Git or Mercurial) would be considered an asset.
