Job Description

Semicolon Agency is a digital marketing agency run by an experienced management team, who have a passion for digital transformation.

Working as our BDM you will be responsible for sourcing and converting current and new business leads and generally working with the rest of the Navigate team, to develop, maintain and evolve our market position and agency proposition.

The role encompasses a wide range of duties, including:-

  • Develop warm and cold leads and build a robust new business pipeline
  • Develop case studies and other professionally created sales collateral
  • Creating a detailed approach that is updated regularly and shared with management
  • Outbound prospecting via email, phone, and face to face meetings
  • Contribute to the overall development of the agency, in terms of positioning in the market
  • Participate in account brainstorming and media strategy development
  • Build and maintain detailed knowledge of the sectors our clients/prospects work in
  • Create links and develop effective working relationships with appropriate 3rd parties
  • Attend networking events/seminars to maximize awareness of the Navigate brand
  • Working alongside the Client Services Director to identify opportunities with current clients
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth integration campaigns
  • Making a significant contribution to the agency’s bottom line (increase in profit)

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience in a Sales/Marketing role in digital agencies.
  • High level of English skills (speaking / writing)
  • A passion for and thorough understanding of digital marketing, digital transformation, web development, and mobile app development.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally
  • Well presented
  • Able to present to senior client contacts
  • Confident with a relaxed, yet persuasive manner and ability to build a rapport quickly
  • Trustworthy
  • Track record of success in business development and sales in a digital marketing agency or related environment
