Job Description
- Inspect invoices accuracy to resolve invoice and volume discrepancies.
- Follow up and matches invoices and check requests in conformance with financial policies and regulations.
- Track invoices up for payment to ensure processing transactions in conformity with financial procedures.
- Issue and processes check requests in accordance with contracts and purchase orders’ payment terms, agreements, tax laws and regulations.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending
- Analyze accounts to ensure payments are up to date and perform accounts reconciliation.
- Ensure cash payments on due dates according to contractual terms, tax laws and Finance Department’s procedures.
- Implement cash disbursement receipts based on authorized approvals and limits.
- Manage vendors and suppliers’ proper files, contracts and relevant documentation
- Manage all correspondences with vendors and respond to their inquiries in a timely manner.
- Control accruals and prepayment expenses.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in contracting.
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements and accounting standards.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Accuracy and attention to details.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
