Job Description
- Deliver civil/structural engineering in line with project requirements, agreed engineering standards, and the relevant statutory requirements;
- Dealing with international structural codes for structural steel and concrete design.
- Ensure that civil/structural design is delivered on time and according to the required standard on each project or study;
- Make drawings, specifications, and computer models of structures for building contractors.
- Prepare design specifications, fabrication, construction, and presentation drawings.
- Assuring the correctness and accuracy of own work and the work allocated and done under his / her supervision to BIM architects.
- Use design software, in-house spreadsheets, and prepare manual calculations as required.
- Prepare related design documents (drawings, reports, etc.)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (structural steel specialization is preferred).
- Must have experience preferably in aluminum and glass Façade.
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a structural design engineer
- Software (min requirements): AutoCAD, CSI (SAP 2000, Bridge), STAAD PRO, MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Experienced in the use of architectural production software, including Revit, Sketchup, Navisworks, etc.
