Job Description
Responsible for all logistics, communication and tracking of our purchase orders from receiving PR till delivery to our customers
- Revise and prepare the order custom clearance documents before the arrival of goods.
- Tracking the carrier AWB to know the arrival date.
- Collect shipping documents from carriers.
- Prepare all needed documents for customs clearance including bank documents.
- Perform and follow up the custom clearance process & agents in all ports.
- Communicate with different local authorities as pharmacy, chemical, import & export, communication authority, security, to finish all related documents to clear the goods in port.
- Transporting of goods from port to our inventory and from our inventory to customers.
- Report any problems and find solutions to solve them.
- Establish good relation and communication with all stakeholders to facilitate the goods clearance.
- Prepare all needed reports and update relevant procedures related to customs clearance.
- Responsible on goods export, starting from goods collection till the issue of AWB.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics & Maritime Transport
- Develop an operations plan for business units to achieve company goals.
- Optimize operations plan to meet changing business needs.
Identify and implement process improvements and cost optimization initiatives
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
- Strong English verbal / written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task management simultaneously
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
- Create policies or procedures for logistics activities.
