Job Description
- Manage Delivery process for primary and secondary delivery across different distribution centers by assuring that deliveries are on time and with the best service
- Plan for DDEL, secondary deliveries, internal transfer and replenishment.
- Extract plans from system by region after communicating with SOP department.
- Handle dispatch plan with SOP department in order to fulfill the customer’s expectations, organize deliveries upon each customer’s capacity.
- Organize domestic deliveries and transports, each planner for a specific region across Egypt, optimize routes.
- Follow up and solve problems related to pick-up, transport and delivery (in case of delays, difficulties etc.).
- Responsible for truck’s capacity utilization (Truck Fill Rate) and choosing truck type based on cost scheme to choose the cheapest safest method to deliver the orders and implementing all delivery projects.
- Keep strong link with sales operations in order to: Optimize transport process through continuously update with delivery plan/forecast, become flexible towards markets through development of new logistics or customer related solutions.
- Manage transport planning activities in an effective and cost efficient manner.
- Handle operational reporting set up with the team (daily, weekly, & monthly reporting).
- Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place and maintained; in line with business objectives and SLAs.
