Job Description

The position of Marketing Project Manager develops our online and offline marketing strategies and implements these strategies for two brands and five branches. THF&B places a high value on a data-driven approach and our Marketing Department is expected to advise and direct THF&B’s expansion and growth in Egyptian, regional, and global markets.  

The Marketing team works towards achieving and facilitating all our marketing activities from marketing strategies (market research, positioning, departmental budgets, branding, product ranges, and pricing strategies) social media and digital campaigns, advertising and creative projects to promote higher profitability and competitiveness. 

As Marketing Project Manager, your main task is developing  and implementing an online and offline marketing strategy for our two existing brands aligned with our mission and vision to help grow brand awareness and sales revenues. The Marketing Project Manager will develop plans to help strengthen our company’s brands, allocating resources to different activities and setting short-term and long-term goals for each brand. 

Your goal is to improve the performance of the business through the implementation of a high performing marketing strategy. This will involve data-driven digital and cross-channel marketing, including content and affiliate marketing, complemented by a wide range of offline and online media campaigns and customer experience activities. 

The Marketing Project Manager will be reporting to and supervised by the CRO. Additionally, they will be responsible for supervision of a Media Buyer and will coordinate and follow up with third party vendors as relevant. 


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing and providing the smooth running of the marketing functions
  • Setting, monitoring and reporting on department goals
  • Ensure that the duties and responsibilities are clear and measurable for department personnel
  • Overseeing all areas of the marketing department. This may include digital marketing, direct marketing, print marketing, media marketing, social media marketing, market research and coordinating with external agencies
  • Preparing and managing monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
  • Building strong relationships with managers in other departments within the business. 
  • Providing professional advice to support Managers with any marketing challenges 
  • Taking responsibility for ensuring the organization complies with current marketing and copyright regulations as well as accepted professional standards, policies, procedures, and legislation
  • Collaborating with other departments, working with senior team members to discover insights and strategies which can be used to develop and implement marketing campaigns
  • Designing branding, packaging, and communication materials
  • Ensuring our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
  • Analyzing consumer behavior, determine consumer profiles, and engagement strategies
  • Identify and secure opportunities to reach new market segments, expand market share and participate in events
  • Building relationships with event organizers (seasonal and one-time events), and secure contracts
  • Identifying B2B opportunities 
  • Monitoring competition (acquisitions, pricing changes and new products and features)
  • Coordinating production and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
  • Analyzing key marketing performance metrics and using tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends to formulate actionable insights for the marketing team
  • Formulating unique insights to understand the customer from a marketing perspective 
  • Overseeing marketing strategies, campaigns, product concepts and promotional programmes that drive interest and sales

Job Requirements

 Certificates and Qualifications 

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4 years of experience in Marketing or Business Management or other related fields
  • Any additional training and certification in Marketing and Management will be considered an advantage

Soft skills:

Technical skills

  • The ability to develop, analyze and review marketing metrics and trends to identify opportunities and threats.

Software skills

  • Understanding of marketing tools such as marketing automation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Content Management Systems and tools, these will include Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Familiar with Google Suite
