Job Description
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the facility premises, identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures for facility employees, tenants, and visitors.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on safety best practices.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Investigate and document incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting on the mall's HSE performance.
- Collaborate with facility management to continuously improve the overall safety and environmental performance.
Job Requirements
- - Bachelor's degree in agriculture, environmental science, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in a commercial or retail setting.
- Basic understanding of relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders.
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities to identify and mitigate risks.
- Proficiency in using HSE-related software and data management tools.
- Certifications, such as OSHA 10/30, NEBOSH, or ISO 45001, would be an added advantage.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to identifying and addressing safety concerns.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Effective training and presentation skills to educate staff.
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive HSE management systems.
- Knowledge of emergency response planning and incident management.
