Job Description
The Technical Project Manager is responsible for effectively managing the development sprints from planning to execution to review in an Agile development environment. Your role will include running daily scrums, managing the product backlog, collaborating on requirement documentation, and unblocking barriers to keep the team delivering. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong leadership.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-up, sprint review & planning.
- Manage the engineering development project and sprint releases lifecycles to ensure high-quality end software is released by the committed deadlines.
- Guide team in time estimating practices and facilitates team estimates
- Drive and motivate the product team to excel and succeed in delivering high-quality software products including Backend, Web, Android, and iOS applications for our users, place managers, and administrators.
- Manage project conflicts, challenges, and dynamic business requirements to keep operations running smoothly with a high performance
- Manage the documentation of Feature Stories on Confluence in a clear and concise manner for each Release including different scenarios, test cases, and requirements to enable the Product Team to design, develop and test the features required effectively.
- Implement and support principles, rules, and processes
- Proactively identify and eliminate impediments and facilitate workflow
- Maintain team data in project management software like JIRA to support estimates and execution
- Present high-level project readouts for senior management
- Supports product owner with intra-team dynamics with respect to priorities and scope
- Manage other tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development companies and 2 years leading sprints or product owner roles and team management.
- Minimum 1 year experience in JIRA experience for agile project management including JIRA automation.
- Fluency and complete comprehension and writing in the English language.
- Experience in Software Documentation
- Demonstrable expertise of JIRA and Confluence
- Strong understanding of Agile procedures to predict the development teams’ needs
- Deep understanding of agile metrics (tasks, backlog tracking, velocity, user stories etc.) to analyze and improve sprint planning
- Demonstrable expertise of Software Development
- Demonstrable expertise of team Management
- Experience in applying Design Thinking and drawing Customer Journeys
- Deep understanding of UI/UX Design for Mobile and Web applications
- Deep understanding of Software Testing
- Experienced in Project Management
- Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules and practices
- Ability to understand and represent both the business and technology
- Excellent communicator in person, over the phone and through email
- Self-motivated, organized
