Job Description
- Processing tax payments and returns and all taxes required activities.
- Prepares tax provision schedules by reviewing, preparing, and consolidating provision schedules
- Prepare Payroll tax payments and VAT form in addition to WHT form 41
- Dealing with the recent tax authorities regulations.
- Revises procedures by developing and streamlining procedures and worksheets for calculation of tax provisions.
- Recommends tax strategies by researching local taxation issues
- Maintains legislative materials by reviewing, interpreting, and implementing new or revised laws.
- Tracking payments to internal and external stakeholders.
- preparation of the electronic bill and good knowledge about all the steps and processes related.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Continuously update the list of customers that are exempted from VAT or subject to 0 VAT
- Publish financial statements in time.
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Ensure timely bank payments.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Job Requirements
- Work experience as an Accountant.
- Received training or worked before at any reputable accounting office.
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Experience with general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree.
- Additional certification (CPA, CMA,....etc )is a plus.
