Job Description

  • Responsible for the all the technical aspects of customer files.
  • Review work orders and matching technical specifications of the contract with customer file
  • Matching & Revising all the accessories & appliances in the kitchen with all the work drawing.
  • Insure & Review that all the measurement in the file before reviewing with client Direct & put solutions & alternatives for any errors occurs.
  • Applying for planning permissions and building regulations
  • Customer visits for technical discussion and site inspection.
  • Preparation of BOQs, cost estimation for project budgeting and Man-hour estimates.
  • Preparing tenders for government and private sectors.
  • Projects also include designing, selection, costing.
  • Load calculations for design development.
  • Technical coordination with sales persons & consultants associated with the project.
  • Preparing technical quotations and equipment pricing depending on the market competition.
  • Provide technical and commercial evaluation and Quotations, tenders, customer enquiries.
  • Complete understanding of Tenders with respect to scope of work, pricing schedule and material requirement
  • Review bid documents; request required information of various departments to compile, complete and submit the best possible proposal
  • Prices analysis and comparison
  • Customer Coordination at site and office.
  • Grounding and Lightning system design
  • Tendering and Quotation
  • Prepare the technical submittals and the material submittals for each tenders
  • Planning and follow up the tender process and prepare the time schedule for it.
  • All the designs and shop drawings and contact the client for any missing data.
  • Prepare the needed documents and make cost analysis sheets.
  • Supervise the choosing of the tenders’ suppliers (Foreign and local) and check all the invoices with the help of the purchasing engineer
  • Make monthly report for tender’s process and all the achievements done and comparing them with the time schedule.
  • Monitoring the tender’s purchases and check the quality of the materials
  • Filing and saving all the tender’s documents and drawings
  • Shop drawings
  • Price lists
  • BOQ / Quantity take off
  • Proforma invoices
  • Purchase orders
  • Tender’s terms and conditions (Financially and technically)
  • Work with all the technical office team to ensure that all the needed documents are permanently available and have serial numbers
  • Make a recovery program in case of work delay.
  • Make sure that the project has been done in the agreed time mentioned in the contract and in the tender’s conditions and terms.
  • Receive and participating in solving all the problems occurred during the execution.
  • Sending the final tender’s report to the CEO

Job Requirements

Education:

  • B.S.C of electrical engineering.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a technical office engineer.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Problem Solving, Product Knowledge, Software Requirements, Product Development, Presentation Skills, Technical Professional, Requirements Analysis, Innovation, AutoCAD design skills
  • Must have good English language ability.
  • Must have excellent AutoCAD design skills.
  • Must be able to work both as part of a team or independently.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • General understanding of electrical engineering required.
