Trader

On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for surveying international markets, conducting research, and keeping up-to-date with the latest financial news. You will spend a large part of your time visiting regional and international suppliers, meeting with buyers, negotiating prices and payment terms, and overseeing logistics arrangements. You will also be responsible for building relationships with potential clients and developing new business opportunities.

• Developing reports and forecasts to guide investments
• Implementing effective trading strategies.
• Meeting with clients and international commodities suppliers
• Creating and implementing hedging strategies to help spread risk
• Evaluate new business opportunities
• Negotiating prices and delivery details on behalf of suppliers
• Supervising trading and logistics operations
• Recording and reporting each day’s profit and loss.
• Maintaining and managing the exchange's system and static data
• Working on quantitative research to improve trading strategies.
• Performing account onboarding and maintenance functions
• Managing special projects and improving processes
• Investigating and resolving trade issues
• Liaising with suppliers, buyers other stakeholders
• Providing excellent client support services
• Assisting the company to attract new clients by maintaining and enhancing marketing materials.
