- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with localization vendors, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance management.
- Localization Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive localization strategy, aligning it with business objectives and market requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations that meet the highest standards.
- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee localization projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget constraints.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and evaluate vendor performance through key metrics, identifying areas of improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors to optimize costs without compromising quality and delivery timelines.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve localization workflows, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, content creators, and engineers to ensure seamless integration of localized content into our products and services.
- Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitive landscapes, and cultural nuances to inform localization strategies and ensure relevance in target markets.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Linguistics, Translation, International Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Proven experience in managing localization projects and working with localization vendors. Deep understanding of localization best practices, industry standards, and emerging trends. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors. Proficiency in using localization tools and software. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.* Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
