Job Description
- Manage budget/petty cash, and work with the cash receipts to reconcile financial discrepancies that occur in the application of cash.
- Issue payroll cards requests for casual staff, and manage bi-weekly wages payments for workers.
- Follow up on the cheque cycle for subcontractors, and manage any financial-related issues.
- Approve on regular payment requests (PRs) for site needs (buffet, housing, cleaning, etc.) from the budget provided.
- Check the site stores regularly to compare the materials received with ordered ones, in terms of price and quantity.
- Confer with the Transportation team any vehicle rentals or services needed in the site, for approvals and to manage it financially.
- Report to the Human Resources team, any additional allowances (transportation, travel, etc.) to avoid duplication in payment.
- Review time sheets provided by the site timekeepers to verify hours worked, and calculate wages for casual site staff.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Commerce or Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant
- Must have experience in construction field
- Presentable
