Job Description:
- Our Executive Chef will be responsible for the food production process for the entire hotel.
- We are looking for a creative and proficient in all aspects of food preparation, Executive chef- Foreigner or Egyptian.
- You will be “the chief” and maintain complete control of the kitchen.
- Salary for Foreigners are negotiable in USD
- Accommodation is provided for candidates from outside Alexandria
Duties:
- Will be the Head of food preparation and culinary activities
- Help developing recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations.
- Preparing estimations of food consumption rates/costs and costs of labor.
- Implementing hygiene policies, nutrition and safety regulations.
- Supervising kitchen staff, resolving arising problems and maintaining a positive/professional approach with co-workers.
- Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems /complaints.
- Performing administrative work, ex: Keeping time and payroll records and arranging for equipment purchases and repairs.
Job Requirements
- Proven Work Experience as a head chef with a minimum of 12 years in Hotels or Luxurious restaurants, specifically A La Carte French Cuisine.
- Ability to Multitask and resolve problems efficiently.
- Excellent Record of Kitchen management.
- Communication and leadership skills.
- Keeping up with cooking trends and latest practices.
- Bachelor Degree in Culinary sciences or related certificates.
