Job Description

  • Lead the effective achievement of Financial sector/function/business unit – objectives through the leadership of the Financial sector/function/business unit – setting individual objectives, managing performance, recruiting qualified staff, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and overall performance.
  • Oversee the consolidation and recommend the Financial sector/function/business unit budget 
  • Monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified and potential areas of cost reduction or performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon
  • Manage the effective achievement of Finance objectives through the leadership of the Finance – setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and the performance of the Finance.
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of Finance to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures
  • Build a dynamic data base for our brands’ financials. 
  • Lead the financial planning cycles for the company (AOP, 3 years Start Plans, 12MRF)
  •  Validate the ROI of all projects and investments in advance and post mortem
  •  Run the regular profit matrices and analysis highlighting profitability enhancement’s opportunities 
  •  Lead & Work closely in projects’ Multifunctional teams on all company’s initiatives (including the pricing exercises for Sales and export markets).  Financial planning defining the best utilization of our capacities, resources vs. outsourcing options
  • Safe and regular book keeping 
  •  Run regular audits to all company accounts and costs/profits centers to ensure full respect of the accounting rules and standards
  •   Stick to the pre-agreed reporting dates with the highest levels of accuracy and promptness
  • Strict abidance by audit’s regulations and guidelines (legal and as per company guidelines)
  • Maintain regular and respectable professional relationships with the tax authorities 
  •  Own the finance business processes and ensure these are legal, audit compliant and active at all times
  • Set the right principles for cash management (Working capital, Treasury, Petty cash…etc.) 
  •  Monitor and influence the inventory levels of the company and manage its impact on company cash position
  •   Balance the cash position between currencies 
  • Maximize the accounts payable and Minimize the accounts receivables 
  •  Lead the company’s productivities and healthy cost savings initiatives 
  • Validate & Analyse and highlight cost saving opportunities on all lines of the P&L 
  •   Protect the company’s interests at all times 
  • Ensure that company full abidance by the laws of every country we compete in Safe guard the team’s competitiveness appetite and morale
  • Ensure that all activities are monitored and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards
  • Recommend an optimum organization structure for the Finance so that resources are optimally utilized and communication can take place in an efficient manner
  • Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate reports of Finance to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
  • Lead and guide the project management team in the planning, organizing, management and control of various projects in order to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives
  • Lead and direct the management of change through continuous improvement of sector/function/business unit systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive 

Job Requirements

  • Minimum academic and professional qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting CFA or CPA 
  • Experience: Minimum 15 Years in Accounting and Fin. Planning & Analysis. At least 5 years in the same position 
  • Technical Specifications: Economics Strategic Finance Internal Control system and concepts Costing Accounting Models
