Job Title: Electrical Engineer(Lighting Design)
Job Location: New adnmisitrative capital, Cairo, CBD
Employment Type: 1-year Fixed Contract
Job Description:
Your day to day role would involve, but would not be limited to the following activities:
- Lighting electrical shop drawing.
- Schematic diagram of lighting electrical understanding.
- Electrical Lighting and cable-related calculations.
- Large-scale drawing of installation nodes of lamps and related equipment.
- Lighting electrical construction drawing submission for approval.
- Calculation of bill of quantities.
- Assist with on-site commissioning activities.
- Assist with on-site coordination.
- Electrical technical communication and clarification.
- Any other Ad hoc projects as requested by the Manager.
Job Requirements
Key Skill sets：
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD is essential, and experience of electrical drawings and submission for approval is a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge of BIM process and system.
- Proficiency in DALI controlling protocol and DALI lighting fixtures. (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface)
- Proficiency in DMX controlling protocol and DMX lighting fixtures.
Qualifications:
- B.S/MSc. in Electrical Engineering degree.
- Proven 3 year experience in related area.
- Ability to work in a vibrant multi discipline design environment.
- Strong work ethic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work both in design office and on construction teams.
- Driving license is preferable.
Language：
- Arabic（required）
- English（required）
- Chinese Mandarin (preferable）
PS: Candidate may be asked to conduct a shop drawing test based on Autocad.
COVID-19 considerations:
Quarantine requirements- Due to outbreak of Covid-19, candidates will be asked to conduct a PCR test. Candidates will be required to impose a self-quarantine if the result of test is positive. Candidates will not be allowed to enter into site for work until the test result is negative.
