Flash is an early-stage Cairo-based fintech aiming to simplify everyday transactions and drive financial inclusion through app-based digital payments and financial services.

Our founding team has deep local and international experience working at top consumer-facing technology companies.

We are looking for a Senior UX and UI Designer to join our team. This is a critical role and you’ll be working directly with the company’s Product Lead and Co-founders to build and improve our user interface. This is an exciting opportunity to make an impact from Day 1 in a company with very high ambitions.

Responsibilities:

• Create user-centered designs by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences, understanding business requirements and user feedback
• Conduct & document user research, usability tests & make adjustments based on user feedback
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to design customer-centric products that address user needs
• Use brand guidelines and adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
• Work closely with the brand team to make sure the design reflects the brand
• Translate concepts and requirements into wireframes, user stories, user journeys, style guides, design systems, design patterns, prototypes and mock-ups that lead to intuitive and friendly user experiences optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions and features
• Create and revise information architecture documents and diagrams 
• Create original graphics when necessary
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems
• Stay up-to-date with new techniques, technologies and trends to deliver cutting edge designs
