Job Description
- To lead the department to ensure students at all levels achieve in line with high expectations.
- To promote the values and teach the skills required for all students to achieve positive mental health and wellbeing through your role as HoD, teacher and mentor.
- To secure high quality teaching and learning in the subject area
- To be a role model in the professional leadership and management of a subject
To ensure effective use of resources in the department - To take a reflective and evaluative approach to developing the effectiveness of the department, drawn from data and other evidence.
- To keep parents well informed about their child’s achievement in Subject and ensure that all information sent to parents is of a high stand.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in the same position (In National/Semi-international Schools) is a MUST.
- Team Building and managerial skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of the different primary/preparatory subjects.
- Knowledge of general and subject-specific teaching skills and strategies.
