A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll daily duties will mostly be to:
- To warn swimmers of improper activities or hazard.
- To rescue persons in distress or in danger of drowning when indicated and to provide rescue breathing, CPR and first aid whenever necessary.
- To report to the Recreation Supervisor or Director of Recreation of any equipment that is in need of repair.
- To successfully and positively perform within work team dynamics.
- To answer customers inquiries pertaining to the use of the pool.
- To conduct simple water tests to determine water quality.
- To direct helpful suggestions from participants and others by your direct supervisor.
- To maintain attendance and activity records, complete required reports.
- To ensure that the pool, the beach and its surrounding area are kept clean.
- Holds Life Guard Certificate.
Experience:
- 2 year experience as fitness trainer or instructor, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
