Job Description

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE


To assist in the analysis, planning, developing and execution of the airline’s interline and codeshare agreements in line with flydubai's strategy.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  1. Manages the existing interline/codeshare agreements and their pricing strategies to maximize revenue streams.    
  2. Monitors performance of existing agreements with a primary focus on Emirates to ensure revenue maximization from the partnerships    
  3. Reviews prorate rates, pricing strategies, schedules to ensure competitive product offering in comparison to origin-destination one-stop carriers     
  4. Ensures IT/Commercial projects with the partner airlines are progressing in line with agreed timelines. 
  5. Ensures that all Interline & codeshare partnerships are complementing and not cannibalizing flydubai's business. 
  6. Proactively identifies any potential issues and ensure corrective action.    
  7. Coordinates with Revenue Accounting department and perform periodic audits to protect revenue leakages from existing partnerships.  
  8. Ensures that chart mappings are in line with the SPA/SRP agreements and changes are updated as and when required. 
  9. Identify and analyse issues to prepare for negotiations with partner.    
  10. Liaises with the IT/MIS team to schedule reports to monitor the other airline contribution, market trends, potential revenue opportunities.    
  11. Administers MITA/IATA updates/manuals/concurrences (where applicable) including participation in working groups related to Interline projects (i.e. Fare Selection Criteria, NDC, EMD, tariff publications and etc.)


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS


Minimum Education Level Required


  • Bachelors Degree (or equivalent)

Experience Specific Requirements


  • Engineering / Finance / Statistics / Accounting / Economics / Mathematics.
  • Preferred No. of Years (with Relevant Degree) - 7

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
