Job Description
- Handling the entire purchasing process (Sourcing, purchasing, shipping and clearance).
- Reviews purchase orders to ensure adherence to quality and procedures.
- Communicate with vendors on items' price, availability, delivery, quality, suitability and purchase supplies accordingly
- Preparation of documents for customs clearance for foreign orders either by sea, air freight and overland by coordination with finance department and submit the same to authorized customs clearance agents.
- Communicates frequently with customers & provides continuous orders follow-up with the suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Maintains effective record keeping on all purchase orders and supplier confirmations.
- Follows up on products status and delivery dates.
- Coordinate with various departments for smooth functioning of departmental activity
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in shipping and purchasing.
- Strong understanding of Logistics systems and countries regulations.
- Excellent English writing and speaking.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
