Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain real-time integrations with Oracle Micros, Foodics, Comsys, Crystal Mind, Simple Touch, and other POS platforms.
- Sync menu, order, payment, and inventory data via REST APIs, webhooks, and polling.
- Implement retry, failover, and data-validation mechanisms to ensure consistency.
- Troubleshoot production issues; provide root-cause analysis and fixes.
- Author clear integration documentation and merchant onboarding guides.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years in software integration or backend development; 1+ years focused on POS integrations.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
Must-Have Skills :
- Proven integration experience with Oracle Micros and Foodics.
- Hands-on work integrating Comsys, Crystal Mind, Simple Touch, and other POSs.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Production experience with NestJS or Express.
- Deep understanding of REST, and WebSocket patterns.
- Familiarity with message-queue systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
