Job Description
- Responsible for the development of mid and long-term category annual marketing strategy and the prioritization of initiatives in order to meet the company’s short and long-term business objectives
- Responsible for the management and implementation of all strategic category marketing programs to grow business and support category’s strategic objectives
- Ensure a healthy and sustainable growth cycle of the category by continuous monitoring of volumes, retail audit and brand health indicators
- Responsible for all aspects of product launch and development to enlarge category portfolio and meet consumers’ needs
- Maintain strong understanding of the usage trends of product categories amongst target group to create new consumption occasions
- Responsible for the development of monthly promotional strategies to achieve sales goals
- Product: Track quality of competition versus brand performance standards and quality benchmarks and identify any issues and/or opportunities
- Price: Develop pricing scheme based on the brand’s positioning guidelines
- Establish trust relationships with customers/accounts to achieve better pricing and product visibility
- Develop exit/rationalization strategies for unsuccessful products
- Deliver monthly analyzed sales reports with strong recommendations to highlight sales opportunities and/or market gaps
- Work alongside Trade Marketing and Sales Team to ensure a close follow-up on the implementation of marketing plans
- Acquire service partnerships with national distributors to capitalize on their market penetration and logistical facilities and enhance brand’s performance through best-in-class retail distribution strategies
- Increase brand recognition, brand loyalty and reinforce stronger customer relationship brands’ presence on social and digital media platforms
Job Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
- 6-8 years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent command of English and Arabic Language
- Excellent project management skills to manage own project and tasks
- High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Working knowledge of the principles of sales and marketing management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
