Work with system development team to create database designs that meet the business/application goals
Design and implementation of database schemas
Analyzing data access and modification requirements to ensure efficient SQL and optimal database design
Analyze, diagnose and resolve errors related to applications
Investigate operational or systematic problems and user queries as required
Participate in technical solution/code review, application security assessment, application performance tuning, and troubleshooting
Supervision of modifications to any existing database software to meet the needs of their employer
Responsibility for maintaining the integrity and performance of company databases
Must guarantee that data is stored securely and optimally
Informing end users of changes in databases and train them to utilize systems
Ensuring the security of company data

BS in computer science, engineering or IT relevant field.
Minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience with MS SQL - SQL agent Jobs, replication, DDL\DML and PL SQL - Including SP, Functions and Views.
Strong knowledge of software development best practices
Good oral and written communication skills
Strong working self-project management skill and a Team Player
Microsoft certifications
Experience with Team Foundation Server
Experience working in Agile development environment
