Job Description
Key Duties:
- Produce well-researched content for industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and studies)
- Organize writing schedules to complete drafts of content or finished projects within the deadlines
- Utilize industry best practices and familiarity with the organization's mission to inspire ideas and content
- Communicate and cooperate with the Marketing Manager in developing content for advertising campaigns.
- Develop related content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, videos, and blogs
- Use search engine optimization (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results
- Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies.
- Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
- Identify customers' needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
Job Requirements
- BSc in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
- Portfolio of published articles
- Experience doing research using multiple sources
- Familiarity with web publications
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Ability to meet deadlines
