Job Description
- Maintains continuous communication with subordinates to review programs, provide feedback, discuss new developments, and exchange information.
- Updates supply chain practices in accordance with new or changing environmental policies, standards, regulations, or laws.
- Partakes in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams and maintains effective working relationships with other departments.
- Sets appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials.
- Monitors supplier performance to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements.
- Monitors forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
- Executes new or improved supply chain processes.
- Executes supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions, new business opportunities, or cost reduction strategies.
- Implements policies and procedures for inventory control and issuance of supplies and equipment.
- Responsible for adequately maintaining inventory levels sufficient to meet customer needs within efficient and practical financial guidelines.
- Supervises the maintenance and preparation of records, files, and other documents.
Job Requirements
- Experience in procurement and/or warehouse.
- A Master's or diploma is preferred.
- Previous experience at hospitals is a must.
- Good knowledge of drugs and consumables.
- Preferred to be a pharmacist.
- Analytical thinker.
- Assiut resident is a must.
