Job Description
- Clarify bid queries with vendors.
- Draft sourcing schedules based on project plans.
- Ensure vendors follow delivery schedules and product details.
- Gather data on vendors to propose improvements.
- Gather feedback on the efficiency of current sourcing plans.
- Highlight sourcing issues for management's action.
- Maintain procurement database and documentation.
- Maintain sourcing documentation in the procurement management system.
- Maintain vendor information and records.
- Manage vendor contracts.
- Monitor vendor performance.
- Organize procurement operations with vendors and partners.
- Prepare reports on assessments of bids received.
- Process payments to vendors.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role
- Good working knowledge of purchasing strategies
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a similar field preferred
