Job Description
- Build and Administer virtualization environment.
- Maintain and monitor active network gear: switches, routers, wireless, VoIP etc. and ensure that efficiency of network utilization.
- Assign Network addresses, routing protocols and routing table configuration as well as configure authentication and authorization – directory services.
- Monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance.
- Manage performance tuning and capacity planning activities to enhance the performance of the network resources.
- Perform routine backups and archival of files stored on the network to assist with disaster recovery.
- Develop, implement, and sustain networking process and procedures
- Oversees all data, voice, and network security infrastructure projects.
- Provide end-user assistance where required
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science from a reputable university.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows servers 2012/2016 administration.
- Above average knowledge of networking protocols, especially TCP/IP.
- Able to manage multiple projects efficiently, maintain strict confidentiality, function in a dynamic environment, handle stress and high levels of responsibility, and work well in a team environment.
- Experience in corporate networks, specifically networks that span multiple subnets.
- Experience in supporting clients on a corporate network; specifically support involving Switches, Subnets, Routers, VLAN's, DNS, Network Shares, Network Storage, File/Print services, Directory Services, Etc. is preferred.
- Experience with personal computer and server hardware and able to perform troubleshooting is preferred.
- Having an entry-level certificate in networking like CCNA or JNCIA is must .CCNP is highly preferred.
- Should be able to fulfill physical requirements (standing for long periods, working late, transport to and from several sites).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent command of English Language.
- Must have solid experience in firewalls.
- Must Have Cisco certificate.
