Seaport is looking for a highly skilled Power Engineer to join our team in Egypt. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing electrical systems that support firefighting equipment and other critical operations, ensuring their reliability and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain electrical systems and power supply solutions for firefighting pumps and other equipment.
- Perform electrical load calculations and system analysis to ensure energy efficiency.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with Egyptian electrical codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other technical staff to integrate electrical systems into firefighting systems.
- Prepare technical documentation, including electrical schematics, reports, and specifications.
- Stay updated on the latest electrical engineering developments, technologies, and regulations.
- Ensure the safety and reliability of all electrical systems in the company’s operations.
Job Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical power systems design and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Experience with power distribution, generators, and UPS systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects.
