Job Description

Overview: Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading a team of accounting professionals. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage the accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes in (UAE/ KSA/ Egypt / Pakistan)

· Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

· Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing training and performance evaluations.

· Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.

· Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

· Coordinate and complete annual audits.

· Implement and manage cash management processes.

· Automate workflows for various processes (retail, non-retail, contract approvals, etc.) to improve efficiency.

· Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.

· Support other functions within the organization as needed.

· Manage the VAT and Tax reporting with the responsible tax authorities.

· Manage and review the overall company payrolls.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is Plus.

· A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

· Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

· Experience with financial reporting requirements.

· Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

· Strong leadership, team management and communication abilities.

· High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Preferred Qualifications:

ü Experience in the Ecommerce industry.

ü Familiarity with ERP systems.

ü Knowledge of regional financial regulations and compliance requirements and IFRS.
