Job Description
- Ensure that each storage location is maintained with stock levels that are determined by usage.
- Enter purchasing orders details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal Hospital databases.
- Enter shipping and inventory data in the hospital computer system.
- Determines the inventory accounting methods and also analyses the inventory related reports.
- Compile reports inventory and supply balances.
- Conduct cyclical counts for inventory purposes.
- Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems.
- Make note of damaged inventory.
- Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
- Prevent overstocking and ordering.
- Keep track of inventory and supplies that need restocking.
- Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any relevant field.
- 2-3 years of experience in hospitals is a MUST.
- Knowledge and experience of ERP System and excellent usage of Excel.
- Working knowledge of inventory management cycle.
