Job Description

  • Ensure that each storage location is maintained with stock levels that are determined by usage.
  • Enter purchasing orders details (vendors information, invoices and pricing) into internal Hospital databases.
  • Enter shipping and inventory data in the hospital computer system.
  • Determines the inventory accounting methods and also analyses the inventory related reports.
  • Compile reports inventory and supply balances.
  • Conduct cyclical counts for inventory purposes.
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document record keeping and accounting systems.
  • Make note of damaged inventory.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
  • Prevent overstocking and ordering.
  • Keep track of inventory and supplies that need restocking.
  • Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
     

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or any relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in hospitals is a MUST.
  • Knowledge and experience of ERP System and excellent usage of Excel.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management cycle.
