Job Description
- Manages overall performance of tendering team
- Reviews project tender documents, specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
- Prepares a project brief.
- Handles queries’ list to be sent to the client for the missing, contradicting, and confusing issues related to the tender.
- Arranges site surveys to identify any technical requirements.
- Prepares plans, details, and cost estimates (BOQ).
- Evaluates suppliers and subcontractors for technical and financial offers.
- Negotiates the technical and financial issues of the offers received from suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
- Ensures technical & commercial offers according to company standards.
- Updates suppliers and subcontractors’ vendor list on monthly basis.
- Advises the Project Manager of any technical aspects of the MEP services that may affect construction progress.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Mechanical or Electrical engineering
- Minimum experience of 10 years in the construction field
- Good command of the English Language (Written and Spoken)
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).
- AutoCAD is a must.
- Preferable Revit experience
- Possess excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
