Job Description
Manage each project’s scope, timeline, and delivery goals, ensuring alignment with Agile principles and business objectives.
• Coordinate and lead sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups to maintain momentum and proactively address any challenges.
• Mentor and coach team members in Agile methodologies, focusing on improving team productivity, accountability, and adherence to Scrum best practices.
• Facilitate effective internal and cross-functional communication and collaboration, ensuring transparency and shared understanding across all project stakeholders.
• Act as the primary contact for external communications, addressing inquiries from customers or stakeholders to align on project expectations and progress.
• Act as product owners to manage backlogs and new feature requests, prioritizing tasks that add the most value to end users.
• Resolve conflicts and proactively remove roadblocks that may hinder team progress, fostering a supportive environment for continuous improvement.
• Support teams in implementing process changes effectively, helping them adapt and improve performance in response to new requirements or challenges.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards by the end of each sprint, conducting regular reviews and providing constructive feedback to guide development.
• Foster a productive environment where team members feel ownership and engagement with the product, promoting a collaborative and motivating workplace culture.
• Expert in JIRA, capable of managing troubleshooting, support, and administrative tasks, including board configuration, workflow automation, and reporting to maximize team efficiency and visibility.
Job Requirements
- Experience in a scrum master role
- Familiarity with software development
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
- Outstanding organizational skills
