Job Description
1- Tasks of Licensing and Registration
- The pharmacist is responsible for the storage before the concerned authorities in regard to internal or external inspection (pharmacy inspection).
- Registration and licensing procedures as a manager responsible for the facility at the Ministry of Health.
- Coordination with the Health Affairs Directorate to which the branch is affiliated.
2- Tasks of Inventory Managing
- Responsible for maintaining the goods rates in the branch and making the necessary adjustments to them in coordination with the Sales Supervisors, the Branch Manager and the Area Manager.
- Following up the incoming and outgoing transfers to and from the branch.
- Replying to transfer requests sent via email.
- Following up direct supply orders received by the branch.
- Following up of excess and stagnant balances in the branch, and informing the departments of sales, inventory and purchases of them.
- Finding the missing balances, informing the inventory and purchasing departments of them and requesting that they be transferred from other branches if they are available there.
- Following up and monitoring the valid returns in accordance with the company's policy and ensuring their validity for resale.
- Following up the separation of damaged and near-expiration items that are actually valid and registered on the system.
- Supervising the recall and prohibition operations of items according to the publications of the Ministry of Health and Quality Management.
3- Tasks of Sales Management
- Supervising Tele-sales representatives and identifying target customers.
- Directing the sales team and providing information on sales methods and how to make a good phone call with the customer.
- Direct communication with VIP customers.
- Following up the representatives’ implementation of the company's policy and implementation of the sales message.
- Determining the target for each supervisor according to the previous history of customers and working on sales increase of each customer from the previous month.
- Following up the sales of items with exclusive offers in the company.
- Following up the sale of special orders required through the point of sale (POS).
- Communicating with the companies’ representatives to provide approvals for each branch and provide the goods required for their implementation.
- Communicating with the scientific offices and marketing departments in companies to explain the new items and sales advantages and everything that helps increase sales.
- Following up the sales of target customers monthly by the management and direct the Tele-sales representatives to communicate with them in order to increase their sales numbers and the number of items.
- Following up the near-expiration dates or stagnant items and coordinating with the point of sale to finalize their balances.
- Submitting reports of market variables and information (feedback).
4- Tasks of Storages and Quality Management
- Responsible for all personnel assigned technically at the storage in coordination with the branch manager.
- Following up the workflow in the storage and ensuring the quality, speed and efficiency of the storage and preparation process.
- Following up on the application of quality regulations and requirements for storage and preparation operations (GDP & GSP).
- Following up and saving the publications of the Ministry of Health regarding fraudulent or corrupt medicines.
- Obligation to report everything related to the field of pharmacovigilance.
- Training and directing storage personnel and other individuals of the branch in regard to pharmacovigilance procedures.
- Submitting quality and efficiency reports about the state of the storage.
5- General
- Full compliance with the code of conduct and company regulations.
- Coordinating with departments in order to ensure implementation of tasks in an optimal and faster manner.
- Submitting the required reports by the supervisor or the manager.
- Implementing any updates to the business that may be instructed by his supervisor or manager in a manner that doesn’t violate the nature of his work or the company’s policy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Pharmaceutical
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sales and Management.
- Pharmaceutical distribution experience is a must.
- Great Sales skills, ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to achieve targets and exceeding them.
- Perfect communication skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage team members.
- MS Office and computer skills.
- English and Arabic great level.
