Develop a standard process for medical file preparation, sending to medical records and retrieval
Distribute and assign responsibilities of medical record department staff based on action plan determined by quality manager and approved by hospital general manager.
Provide work direction, guides and oversees activities to medical records department staff and medical reports office staff.
Ensure that all hospital patients have one MRN and one medical file.

Follow up medical records specialists who are checking the completeness of medical records in each hospital floor
Follow up for the porters who receive the emergency medical files from emergency department on daily bases.
Follow up for the porters who receive the emergency medical files from each hospital floor on daily bases.
Follow up for the medical records specialist who receive the medical (hand written) reports to write it on the computer
Follow up for the porter responsible for the archiving unit
Follow up for the English reporting and data analysis made by the medical records supervisor and medical transcription doctors.

Train hospital nursing and administrative staff on needed requirements regarding file completion before sending it to be archived in medical records
Participate actively as required in supporting medical committees
