Job responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of reporting.
• Preparation of weekly cashflow forecasts.
• Ownership of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with other finance teams and manage reporting, compliance, and control projects.
• Analysis must provide the insights that allow us to grow our business and manage our costs.
• Have worked with general ledger and reporting systems and taken responsibility for planning and forecasting.
• Have a close attention to detail, and your analytical mindset means you spot trends and anomalies others miss.
• Responsible for ensuring all entities are accurately consolidated into the monthly management accounts.
• Reviewing commentaries for the monthly reporting pack prepared by the engineering department, ensuring they provide insightful commentary on monthly working capital and cash flow variances.
• Complete checks of key financial information that feeds into the reporting packs, such as the group balance sheet and profit and loss.
• Manage the reporting of group debt and perform reviews of debtor calculations such as debtor days, aged/overdue debt by client, and bank debt analysis.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of the monthly reporting process by identifying areas to create efficiencies within the process and driving forward such changes.
• Overseeing the production and timely delivery of the monthly management reporting and rolling forecast.
