Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new national airline is looking for global talent to build on our ambition to be the World’s most inspiring airline with an exceptional guest experience. 


We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts and Procurement Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the contracts and procurement process as a key member of the Contracts and Procurement team. The Contracts and Procurement Manager will be a key player in our organization's success, driving efficiency, cost savings, and value creation through strategic procurement and effective contract management.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support the organization's objectives and goals.
  • Oversee the entire procurement process, including sourcing, tendering, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements and provide strategic advice and support.
  • Identify potential suppliers, conduct vendor evaluations, and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Establish and enforce procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyze market trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, as well as managing contract renewals and terminations.
  • Monitor procurement activities to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and financial regulations.

Professional Experience:


  • Proven experience in procurement, contract management, and vendor negotiations, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role (minimum 5 years).
  • Strong understanding of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract law.

Academic Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

Skills:


  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in contract management software, ERP systems, and other procurement tools.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lead and develop a high-performing procurement team and foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards, including but not limited to public procurement regulations, ethical sourcing, and sustainability practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within established timelines.

Licenses:


  • Professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.

Languages:


  • English
  • Arabic (preferred but not mandatory)
